Advisory Operations Summer Intern

The Advisory Operations Department at Stratos Wealth Partners works with our internal financial advisors utilizing multiple custodians including Fidelity, Charles Schwab, LPL.  Reporting to the Director of Advisory Operations, this internship position will focus on a wide range of administrative and client support services. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business major interested in working for a fast-growing Investment Advisory firm.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Work with multiple custodians on new account processing and operational items

·         Review Stratos Client Agreements and Best Interest Disclosures to ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to regulatory requirements

·         Monitor and update account open and transfers associated with new advisor onboardings with Stratos

·         Ensure any not in good order items are communicated to the Advisor Onboarding Team for prompt resolution

·         Execute office/administrative tasks

·         Assist with various projects as assigned

·         Provide front desk coverage as needed

Applicants should be Business or Finance majors with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.
