Position Overview

The Client Relationship Manager / Associate Advisor serves as a hybrid role combining financial planning support, client relationship management, and client service execution. This role partners closely with Lead Advisors to deliver a high-quality client experience while also supporting lead generation program execution and practice management initiatives.

Analytical & Planning Support

· Prepare financial plans by entering data, running scenarios, and generating client deliverables

· Analyze client portfolios and assist with recommendations or rebalancing support

· Create reports, presentations, and custom analyses for client meetings

· Conduct product and investment research as needed

Client Relationship Management & Client Service Operations

· Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client needs

· Manage client service workflows including account maintenance and cash movements

· Coordinate and execute client onboarding processes

· Maintain accurate client records in CRM and portfolio systems

· Prepare meeting materials and track follow-ups

· Partner with advisors and operations to ensure seamless service delivery

· Identify issues proactively and escalate appropriately

· Support training of junior team members

Lead Generation Program Support & Practice Management

· Support execution of firm lead generation programs (referrals, digital tools, marketing initiatives)

· Track and manage prospect flow within CRM systems

· Assist with prospect intake and discovery preparation

· Maintain prospect lists (firm-provided and advisor-provided)

· Coordinate scheduling and follow-up for prospect meetings

· Track pipeline metrics such as activity and conversion

· Collaborate on marketing and business development initiatives

· Identify process improvement opportunities

Job requirements

· Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business, or related field preferred)

· Series 65 license required (or ability to obtain within a defined onboarding period, if applicable)

· 2–5+ years of experience in a financial services environment preferred (within an RIA, broker-dealer, or wirehouse platform is advantageous)

· Demonstrated experience supporting client relationships and delivering financial planning or wealth management services

· Working knowledge of financial planning concepts, investment strategies, and portfolio construction principles

· Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Redtail, Salesforce) and portfolio management/reporting tools

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client and prospect workflows simultaneously

· High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in client service and financial deliverables

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact directly with clients in a professional and confident manner

· Ability to operate in a team-based environment while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities

· Interest in long-term growth within a client-facing advisory or relationship management role
