  • Retirement Corporation of America

An opportunity for a Financial Advisor who has a strong foundation in financial planning and is ready to take on a more meaningful role in both client relationships and team contributions.

Job description

Retirement Corporation of America
Blue Ash, OH

At Retirement Corporation of America, our work centers on helping clients make thoughtful, informed decisions about their financial lives.  We view planning as an ongoing relationship, not a one-time deliverable. That means spending the time to understand each client’s situation, communicating clearly, and helping them navigate decisions with confidence.

We are looking for a Financial Advisor who has a strong foundation in financial planning and is ready to take on a more meaningful role in both client relationships and team contributions.

Role Overview

This position sits at the center of the planning process and client experience. You will work closely with the other advisors on the team to form deep client relationships over time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing for and participating in client meetings, with increasing responsibility in delivering advice

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial plans aligned to each client’s goals and cash flow needs

  • Communicating recommendations in a clear, client-ready manner—both in meetings and in written follow-up

  • Staying closely engaged with client situations to ensure plans remain relevant and actionable

  • Managing ongoing service needs with attention to detail and follow-through

  • Contributing to the continued improvement of planning workflows and client deliverables

  • Developing new opportunities within and outside of existing relationships

    Additional Context

    • This is an in-office role based in Blue Ash, OH

    • The focus of the role is on delivering high-quality communication and planning while also maintaining strong client relationships with the RCA families.  Expanding family relationships and developing new relationships will also be a key focus.

Who This Role Is Designed For

This opportunity is well suited for a professional who has developed a solid technical and client-facing skill set and is looking for:

    • Greater involvement in financial planning and client discussions

    • A team environment that values thoughtful advice and strong client care

    • The ability to continue developing and expanding RCA relationships over time

Retirement Corporation of America offers generous employee benefits including 401k match, healthcare and PTO.

Job requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in financial planning and client relationship management

  • CFP® designation required (or near completion)

  • Series 65 required

    • Existing FINRA licenses must be inactive in this role

  • Demonstrated experience contributing to comprehensive financial planning, not solely administrative or support work

  • Strong client communication skills and professional presence

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client priorities

  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
