Are you a soon-to-be junior or senior looking for a dynamic summer internship in Human Resources? Stratos is seeking an enthusiastic HR Summer Intern to join our team for the 2026 summer season. As an intern, you'll work closely with the HR department on a variety of projects, including assisting with the planning and execution of our annual Health and Wellness Fair for staff and the local community.
Responsibilities include supporting HR team members on ongoing projects, helping organize and run the Health and Wellness Fair, and contributing to other HR initiatives throughout the summer. This role offers hands-on experience in event planning, employee engagement, and HR operations.
Assist with maintaining HR records and documentation, creating and distributing HR procedures, completing data entry tasks, and answering HR phone calls and emails.
Provides overall administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining and processing documentation and records.
Supports employment by scheduling interviews, handling reference checks, and personnel changes.
Works on projects that align with and contribute to accomplishing the Human Resources team objectives. Projects will provide the opportunity to collaborate within the HR department as well as with team members across other departments.
Completes assigned tasks and projects efficiently and effectively, following instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors or mentors.
Participate in on-the-job learning, workshops, networking, and training programs, to enhance knowledge and skills related to the field or industry of the internship.

Job requirements
Current undergraduate student entering junior or senior year.
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail.
Cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Conducts research, gathers data, and analyzes information relevant to the internship focus or assigned projects.
Identifies and resolves issues or challenges that arise during the internship, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
Demonstrates professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic by being reliable, responsible, and maintaining a positive attitude towards assigned responsibilities.

Must be in pursuit of a college degree in human resources or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
