Job description
We are seeking a skilled Project/Product Manager to lead the implementation of technology solutions and DevOps practices to support our firm’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project and product management within the financial service industry, with a strong understanding of DevOps principles (e.g., CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation), datalakes, Salesforce, and exposure to AI tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot. This role will involve driving cross-functional collaboration, managing end-to-end project lifecycles, and ensuring reliable, scalable delivery of technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Project and Product Management:
Take full ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring all team members fulfill their responsibilities, holding stakeholders accountable, and relentlessly driving initiatives to successful delivery.
Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Oversee product lifecycles, from requirements gathering to launch and ongoing iteration, with a focus on user adoption and performance.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
Act as a bridge between technical teams, business units, and leadership to align on project priorities and outcomes.
Provide clear, regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Facilitate training and change management to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
Technology and DevOps Implementation:
Lead the adoption of DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing, to streamline software development and deployment.
Collaborate with development, compliance and operations teams to integrate a wide range of technology tools to solve business operations challenges
Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of technology solutions through DevOps best practices.
AI and Technology Integration:
Incorporate AI-driven tools, to enhance development productivity and automate processes.
Work with technical teams to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies that align with business goals.
Stay updated on AI and DevOps trends to recommend innovative solutions for wealth management applications.
Process Optimization and Automation:
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency using DevOps tools and practices.
Implement monitoring and feedback loops (e.g., using Prometheus or Grafana) to ensure continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Support compliance with financial regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA) through automated testing and documentation.
Job requirements
Education and Experience:
The candidate should have a degree in a discipline that contributes to success in project management. While degrees in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems are valuable examples, a wide range of academic backgrounds may provide relevant skills and knowledge for this role. An advanced degree, such as an MBA, is considered an asset.
2+ years of experience in project or product management, ideally in financial service technology-driven environments.
Proven experience managing projects.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of DevOps tools and practices
Familiarity with AI tools for development or automation.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project).
Knowledge of Wealth Management systems, processes and challenges is a very desirable trait.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Certifications (Preferred):
PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM, or Agile certifications (e.g., ScrumMaster, SAFe).
DevOps-related certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus.
