Stratos Wealth Partners is a successful, growth-oriented Wealth Management team. We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Client Services Associate / Paraplanner in our Metairie, LA office.

 

The firm is seeking an experienced individual (5+ years in the business) to partner with their lead advisor and focus on existing affluent client base to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service and responsiveness to existing client inquiries and needs, delivering solutions and aligning resources to create an outstanding client experience.

  • Work directly with the Lead Advisor to provide support for financial planning and client relationship service.

  • Develop Financial Planning Solutions based on identified risk tolerance, cash flow strategies and appropriate risk and retirement management needs.

  • Provide consultative solutions pursuant to client personal and/or business financial objective.

  • Gain a thorough understanding of each client's financial situation to help create and deliver suitable investment strategies.

  • Leverage technology solutions (CRM, Financial Planning & client reporting tools) to enhance client experience and maintain client service records.

  • Stay abreast of significant changes or developments (e.g. taxation, regulatory, legal, competitive, and technical) within the fields of financial planning and investments.

  • Maintain all required licenses and designations.

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of compliance, regulatory and departmental policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

  • Financial planning: 3 years (Required).

  • LPL Experience (Preferred).

  • Familiarity with wealth management systems CRM and financial planning software.

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required).

License:

  • CFP (Preferred).

  • FINRA Series 7, 66, or 65 and 63 licenses required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years related financial planning and client relationship management experience.

  • 4-year degree.

  • CFP® Designation or CFP® candidate preferred.

  • FINRA Series 7, 66, or 65 and 63 licenses required.

  • Exceptional client relationship management skills - both internal and external client facing.

  • Consummate Team Player.

  • Positive attitude with the ability to effectively manage change and adapt in a continual and rapidly changing environment.

The successful candidate for this position must be highly motivated, able to multi-task effectively, have strong attention to detail, good written and verbal communication skills, and be willing to work independently.
