The Butson Financial Advisors, LLC (BFA) of Stratos Wealth Partners (SWP) is looking for a talented Senior Financial Advisor with 5 years’ or more experience in the wealth management business. The successful candidate will work within our team to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions and financial planning for an assigned Book of existing clients. Our new Advisor will be encouraged to develop new Clients through referrals and marketing. Bringing a personal Book of Business with you is not required or expected. This is an IN-OFFICE position (Wexford, PA).
Job Requirements
Maintain your Book of Business while adding capacity and leveraging potential opportunities.
Implement/continue the Financial Planning process, the cornerstone of client success.
Hold recurring review and discovery meetings and then present solutions to clients as their needs change.
Review and discuss the client’s investment portfolio and adjust their risk levels as situations and temperaments change over time.
Excellent interpersonal skills, face-to-face relationship building abilities Be willing to travel and/or work evenings when necessary.
Excellent organizational skills and embrace technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Ability to identify with our culture, believe in its mission, and help achieve firm goals.
Stay abreast of significant changes or developments (e.g. taxation, regulatory, legal, competitive, and technical) within the fields of investments and financial services.
Maintain all required licenses and designations.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of compliance, regulatory and departmental policies and procedures.

Job requirements
Qualifications & Key Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
5 years, or more, experience in a client-facing role.
CFP Designated.
Knowledge of all financial instruments (investments, annuities, insurance, and financial planning).
FINRA Series 7 (required).
FINRA Series 66, or in lieu of 66, the 63 and 65 are required; (Life and Health is not required at hire but is expected to be obtained within the first three months of employment).
Exceptional client relationship management skills – both internal and external.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal).
Entrepreneurial and resilient.
Strong work ethic, time management, and the ability to self-manage when necessary.
Advisor tools include e-Money Planning Software and Redtail CRM.
Job Benefits
Starting Salary is $150,000. Salary is based on Revenue Sharing and adjusts up or down according to the revenue generated by the Book of Business assigned to you initially and your additions (new Clients and additional deposits to existing Client accounts) to the Book.
Potential Annual Performance Bonus.

Fixed Health insurance reimbursement (currently $500 per month).
Life insurance, optional (not provided by BFA or Stratos).
Paid time off: Current Company PTO Policy is 20 days per year. Upon hire, the PTO days are prorated during the new Employee’s first/partial year.
