Stratos Investment Management Summer Intern

Stratos Investment Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stratos Wealth Partners in Beachwood, Ohio is looking for an enthusiastic, responsible college student to perform various administrative tasks and support all aspects of our Investment Management Operations. This will be full time, hours are available in the Summer with career employment, potentially. Ultimately, you will assist in investment and operational functions of Stratos Investment Management across several different topics and business initiatives.

You will participate in Stratos's intern program which gives interns an opportunity to meet with and learn from our Executive team and Sr. Directors in all departments of our company. An excellent opportunity for a finance student who is looking to pursue a career in Investment and Trading.

Qualifications:

General -

· Support investment functions by providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

· Ability to work comfortably with all levels within the organization from entry-level to investment advisors to senior management.

· Ability to operate with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.

· Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines, and have a friendly, positive personality. Previous office experience a plus.

· Proficiency with technology and software, including the Microsoft suite of software as well as knowledge of in Morningstar Direct and Salesforce.

· Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed.

Specific -

· Knowledge of Finance / Investment principals.

· Familiar with Portfolio monitoring, attribution, and reporting.

· Ability to Prepare for and Participate in the Investment and Trade Action committees.

· Capable of Documenting the Investment process for individual stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs.

· Awareness of various Investment software: FactSet, Bloomberg, NDR, Kwanti, Riskalyze and BondIT.
